1. Introduction & Overview

Welcome to ZippySA. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our
website and the purchase of products from our online store. By accessing our site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders & Payment

Pricing: All prices listed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR). We
reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice.
Payment Processing: Online payments are processed securely via our third-party
payment gateway provider. By submitting a payment, you authorize us and our
payment gateway to process your transaction details.
Order Acceptance: An order is accepted only once payment has been successfully authorized and confirmed.

3. Delivery & Shipping Policy

• Fulfillment & Lead Times: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days
  following payment confirmation.
• Delivery Areas: We deliver across South Africa via registered courier services.
• Delivery Timelines:
  Delivery timeframes depend on the address and courier availability. An estimated timeframe will be provided before dispatch but cannot be guaranteed due to possible courier delays.
• Delivery Fees: Courier charges are calculated at checkout based on delivery location and order size/weight, unless a promotional free delivery threshold applies.
• Delivery Responsibility: Deliveries are made to the physical address specified at checkout. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the package. ZippySA is not liable for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect address details provided by the customer.

4. Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation by Customer:

• You may cancel your order at no charge prior to dispatch by contacting us immediately at info@zippysa.co.za.
• If the order has already been dispatched to the courier, it cannot be cancelled in transit. You may instead return the item upon receipt in accordance with our Refunds & Returns Policy below.

Cancellation by ZippySA:

• We reserve the right to cancel an order prior to dispatch in cases of stock unavailability, pricing error, or suspected fraudulent activity.
• If we cancel your order, you will be notified immediately and issued a full refund.

5. Refunds & Returns Policy

A. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period (ECT Act)
In terms of Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act), you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 7 days of receiving the goods without reason and without penalty.

• Condition: The balance bike must be unused, fully unassembled (or in original
  condition), and in its original, undamaged packaging.
• Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for courier charges associated with returning the product under the cooling-off period.

B. Defective or Damaged Products.

• Upon Receipt: Please inspect your package upon delivery. If the bike arrives damaged or is found to have manufacturing defects, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos of the issue.
• Remedy: We will arrange for the collection of the item at our expense. Upon
  inspection and verification of the defect, you may choose either:
  1. A free repair or replacement.
  2. A full refund via your original payment method.

C. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed via our online payment processor back to the original payment method (or via EFT if required) within 7–10 business days after the returned goods have been received and inspected at our warehouse.

6. Product Assembly & Use Safety

• Adult Assembly Required: Zippy bikes may require minor setup/assembly upon
  delivery. Parents or guardians must ensure all bolts, clamps, and wheels are securely tightened before use.
• Safety Gear: Helmets and protective gear should always be worn by children while operating balance bikes. ZippySA is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse, lack of protective gear, or improper assembly.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, ZippySA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or
products.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
